2021 Pan American Snooker Championships. The Corner Bank, Toronto, Canada. November 13 - 20

The reigning United States National Snooker Champion, Ahmed Aly Elsayed, will lead the challenge of United States players competing in the 2021 Pan American Snooker Championships, which are being hosted at The Corner Bank in Toronto, Canada, from November 13 - 20.

These Championships, which were canceled last year due to the coronavirus outbreak, are being organized by the Canadian Billiards & Snooker Association (CBSA), under the auspices of the Pan American Billiards & Snooker Association (PABSA) which now has eleven member nations and territories from the Pan American Olympic region.

The previous Championships in 2019 were successfully staged in Houston, Texas, with the Brazilian Igor Figueiredo claiming both the Seniors and the Main Event titles – winning the Main Event earned Figueiredo a place competing as a professional on the World Snooker Tour.

This year's Championships will again consist of a Seniors Event for players forty years of age and over, which will run from November 13 - 16, and then a Main Event which will follow to be played from November 17 - 20 with the winner being awarded that coveted place on the World Snooker Tour.

Aly, who won a record sixth United States title last month, is competing in both events of these Championships, and he is joined by the two-time United States National Snooker Champion who he defeated in last month's final, Ajeya Prabhakar.

The United States' Renat Denkha makes a welcome return to the Main Event which saw him lose to Figueiredo in that 2019 final, and Mark White, who was defeated by the Brazilian in the semifinals of the 2019 Main Event in his home state, has opted to participate in just the Seniors Event in Toronto.

Other notable competitors are Brazil's former professional Itaro Santos playing in the Main Event, and the former Canadian professionals John White, playing in the Main Event, and Floyd Ziegler who is playing in the Seniors Event.
