Juneja gained revenge for his defeat in the final of last year's inaugural Seattle Snooker Open, as this time he overcame the number one seeded player Cheang Ciing Yoo in the final 5-4.

Juneja went into the competition as the number seven seed, and having come through his group he then proceeded to defeat Clay Belvoir 3-1 in the round of 16, Prathamesh Sawant 3-0 in the quarterfinals, and Canadian Ross Bradsen 4-1 in the semifinals.

Defending Champion Yoo, who cruised to a 5-0 defeat over Juneja in last year's final, had victories over Dave Daly 3-0 in the round of 16, Daniel Sardoncillo 3-1 in the quarterfinals, and Brady Gollan, the former professional player from Canada, 4-1.

The Seattle Snooker Open is part of the Washington State Snooker League (WSL), which is a combined effort between OX Billiards and Empire Billiards, and will soon welcome a new club, In The Pocket Snooker Club, located in Rochester, Washington. The goal of WSL is to strengthen the sport of snooker in Washington State and to provide a non-handicapped league that is competitive, friendly, and ranks players' skills and effort. The Seattle Snooker Open is open to all players, and welcomes players from other states and countries.
