The second and final event of this season's WPBSA Q Tour Americas series commences today Thursday, February 22, at the PABSA Academy in San Jose, California.

In October of last year, the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) and the Pan American Billiards and Snooker Association (PABSA) announced the launch of the new Q Tour Americas Series as part of the WPBSA Q Tour Global during the 2023-24 season.

The top two players from the Q Tour Americas Series will advance into the 24-player Global Q Tour Playoff which will take place in the European nation of Bosnia & Herzegovina from March 13 - 15, for the chance to secure one of the three available places on the professional World Snooker Tour from the start of the 2024-25 season.

Home player Vito Puopolo won the first event of the Series held in Toronto, Canada, back in January, but as he will not be competing in San Jose, the qualifying spots the the Playoffs in Bosnia & Herzegovina remain wide open.
