In final Denkha faced Irishman Albert Kenny, who now resides in Alberta, Canada, over the best-of-nine frames, though the pair had previously played each other in the tournament when they met in their last Group H match of which Denkha won 2-1.
However it was Kenny who took the initial advantage in this encounter as he forged 2-0 ahead, assisted with a run of 44 in frame 2.
Up until the final Denkha had only lost four frames in the whole of the event, so this would have been the first time that he had felt any kind of real pressure, but that eased after he resolutely secured the third frame.
Kenny soon restored his two-frame advantage by sealing the following frame, though a break of 60 in the fifth frame by Denkha closed the gap to 3-2 in Kenny's favor.
Frame six was an intensely protracted affair which lasted for over an hour which included nineteen fouls being committed, but it was Denkha who eventually pinched it by potting the final pink.
With the final tied at 3-3 and the momentum now with Denkha, he pressed on to swiftly claim the seventh frame and Kenny conceded the next frame and the title on the last pink to give Denkha a 5-3 victory.

It was a solidly assured performance by Denkha who will be hoping to repeat it when he attempts to win his first United States National Snooker Championship title from November 22-25 at the Embassy Billiards Club. He was a beaten quarterfinalist in last year's Championship when he lost to the eventual champion, Daren Taylor.
As the reigning United States National Snooker Champion, Taylor was eliminated from this tournament in the round of 16 by the Canadian player Jason Williams, 4-1.
There were three other former United States National Snooker Champions competing in this event.
The three-time Champion Sargon Isaac was defeated 4-1 by Andy McCloskey in the round of 16, who then lost 4-0 to Denkha in the quarterfinals. The 2022 Champion and last year's runner-up, Steven Wong, lost to Adam Nijiati 4-2 in the round of 16, and the 2013 Champion, Corey Deuel, failed to qualify from his group.
