Igor Figueiredo has defeated his fellow Brazilian Noel Rodrigues Morreira 4-1 in the final to win the 2025 Pan American Seniors Snooker Championship at Aryan Snooker & Billiards in Sacramento, California.
The tournament was dominated by players from Brazil, with all four semifinal contenders coming from that nation. Figueiredo came through his semifinal 4-1 against Itaro Santos, and Morreira booked his place in the final after overcoming the defending champion, Fabio Anderson Luersen, 4-2.
Figueiredo had been the player of the tournament which has been organized by the Pan American Billiards & Snooker Association (PABSA), particularly after hitting a break of 141 during his Group D match against Canada's Ernest Marsh, and he carried that fluent form into the final as he quickly raced into a 3-0 advantage.

Morreira put up some brief resistance to claim the fourth frame, however a run of 60 helped Figueiredo secure his second Pan American Seniors Championship crown, two years after winning his first on home Brazilian soil.
Figueiredo has now qualified to compete in the 2026 World Seniors Snooker Championship at the Crucible in Sheffield, England, where he will be looking to win a second title after claiming victory there in 2024.

The attention is now turned to the 2025 Pan American Open Snooker Championship which commences today, with the champion being awarded a coveted two-year spot to compete as a professional on the World Snooker Tour (WST) from next season.
