In order to accommodate this year's Championship, it has been decided to stage the event over a period of five days which will encompass the Labor Day holiday weekend.
Alan Morris, the Executive Director of the USSA, commented: "In recent years this area of California has seen the opening of several snooker clubs making it a hotbed for the sport in the United States, which was demonstrated by last year's Championship being played only an hour's drive away in Concord.
"With so many keen Championship snooker players in the area and around the nation, entry will have to be limited and is expected to fill quickly."
Entry for this year's Championship will be available exclusively on Cloud Snooker, and so all players must have a USSA Membership account registered on the system.
The 2026 Championship Rules & Conditions of Entry document will be published shortly, and once available players will then be able to submit their entries.
