In a Q&A interview with WST.tv, Holt speaks of how he "had some interest there for a while but this is the first time there has been enough to warrant doing a tour there."
The player from Nottingham in England, who this month while playing in qualifying for the 2026 China Open made the first maximum 147 break of his 30-year professional career, told WST.tv: "Yes I'm off this week and I'm really excited about it. I am going to Los Angeles, San Jose and Modesto, and in each city I am doing coaching workshops during the day and then exhibitions in the evening.
"The workshops are three hours long and it's me with six players around a table, teaching them the fundamentals. I have done them around the UK and few abroad and always had good feedback.
"I know there are some really good clubs and academies in the USA so it's great to hear that people are playing there. Hopefully if this trip goes well I can do more."
As a huge soccer fan, the 2020 Snooker Shoot-out ranking event champion also commented on the World Cup currently being played in the United States and added: "If things work out and England win their World Cup group I might also get the chance to go to their first knockout game in Atlanta as I have friends there who can get me a ticket — that would be amazing."
