filed Monday, August 17, 2026. 6:18am PT/USA
The new PABSA Academy in Santa Clara, California, will be all set in time to host next month's United States National Snooker Championship.
With the tables now in place, final preparations are underway to host the Group matches and Round 1 of the knockout stage of the Championship in conjunction with California Snooker in San Jose. From Round 2 onwards, the event will move exclusively to the PABSA Academy, where this year's champion will be crowned on September 8.

The academy currently has six tables, four of which will only be used for this Championship. Eventually a further two tables will be added to make a total of eight, so it will solely be able to accommodate future international events on behalf of the Pan American Billiards & Snooker Association (PABSA), and national events sanctioned by the United States Snooker Association (USSA).

All of this year's Championship competitors will play at least two of their five group matches at the PABSA Academy, subject to there being no player withdrawals from a group. In addition, players who finish in either second or third place in Groups B, C, F and G will also play their Round 1 knockout-stage tie at the venue from 4pm on September 6.
The complete match schedule of the group stage of the Championship can be viewed on the 2026 United States National Snooker Championship section of Cloud Snooker.
